Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University was established on December 26, 2023 by the merger of  Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and the Municipal "Kyiv Academy of Arts" and is their legal successor (by the ruling of the Kyiv City Council of June 23, 2022 No. 4754/4795).
